Kathryn Rose Rieber (she/they) is an artist, poet, and psychodynamic therapist creating magic all over New York City.  She holds a BA in Communication from University of Massachusetts Amherst and a MSW from NYU, along with advanced clinical training in trauma therapy and supervision.

As a licensed social worker with extensive training in trauma-informed care, perinatal mental health care, and dyadic group work, Kathryn Rose has led programs for survivors of gender-based, domestic violence, managed hospital-based mental health services (outpatient), and supervised supportive housing programs. She works with infants, new parents, children, adults, couples, and families using CBT, EFT, MBSR, and somatic experiencing techniques. In 2018 and 2019, Kathryn Rose studied yogic histories and practice and completed the 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training with Dan Ward, as well as Wanderlust Hollywood’s 200-hour Vinyasa flow training with Joan Hyman and Clio Manulien.

Kathryn Rose has shared artwork and read poetry across the US, from Amherst Coffee in the Pioneer Valley, to CULTURE Creamery and the Bowery Poetry Club in NYC. They are the founder of the monthly beat poetry Salon Writrix Room, and have presented work at 8 Ball Zine Fair, RAW NYC, Conception Arts Los Angeles, La Fleur Cafe, the Poetry Society of New York’s Poetry Festival, and beyond.
